About The Conference

The International Conference on Quantum Many-body Systems (ICQMS) 2025 will take place at Manipur University from June 26-28, 2025, bringing together a diverse group of national and international distinguished physicists. This event will provide a dynamic platform for participants, especially from the Northeast region, to exchange innovative ideas, discuss cutting-edge research and advancements in the field of quantum many-body systems with the leading experts of the field. The conference theme resonates with UNESCO's declaration of 2025 as the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology, emphasizing the importance of promoting quantum science, technology, engineering, and mathematics education and research among young people around the world. This initiative seeks to inspire the next generation of physicists. ICQMS 2025 will cover a broad range of topics, including atomic, molecular, and optical physics, cold and ultra-cold atoms, quantum simulations, quantum phase transitions, topological phases, strongly correlated systems, and more. These topics will be explored from both theoretical and experimental perspectives, providing participants with a comprehensive view of the rapidly evolving landscape of quantum many-body physics. The conference proceedings will broadly cover four research themes; cold and ultra-cold atoms, atomic and molecular many-body physics, quantum information and quantum technology, and experimental developments in the field. ICQMS 2025 will feature a combination of distinguished invited speakers and contributory presentations over three days, offering an exceptional opportunity for early-career researchers, including postdoctoral fellows and senior graduate students, to showcase their works through talks and poster sessions while fostering meaningful interactions with the experts in the field. ICQMS 2025 will serve as a platform to foster collaboration, promote research advancements, and promote knowledge exchange among the participants. This will be especially beneficial for students from Manipur University and neighboring institutions across Northeast region. By hosting this prestigious event in the Manipur University, ICQMS 2025 will bring recognition to the scientific community in the Northeast, inspiring future generations of physicists in the Northeast region. In addition to its academic focus, ICQMS 2025 offers participants the unique opportunity to experience the rich local culture of Manipur, enhancing the overall conference experience with a unique cultural exchange. The event will be memorable and enriching for all involved not only for its scientific discussions but also for its connection to the heritage of the Northeast region. Moreover, the conference aligns well with the objectives of the NEC scheme ‘Support for Seminar/ Symposium/ Workshop, etc’.
